The CapeHorn Integrated Self-Steering system was developed by Yves Gélinas, a solo circumnavigator

Yves designed and engineered the CapeHorn for his 1983 28,000 mile circumnavigation aboard his Alberg 30, Jean-du-Sud. His design places the self-steering quadrant inboard and enables its servo-pendulum to be controlled by a small autopilot if the wind completely dies.
